Handicrafts became a productive way of filling the day in prison. They were made for gifting, which commonly took place within prisoner family structures, and for fundraising by way of a raffle or ballot.

🗓️Saturday 24th Feb at 2:30pm Cate Turner of Healing Through Remembering will be leading a tour of "Everyday Objects Transformed by the Conflict" at Fort Dunree.

The exhibit reveals both unique and everyday stories through a range of ordinary objects, with captions written in the words of those who own them.
